Welcome to Charis Productions [dot] com. This website is the home of my Sims 2 movies/series. I felt the need to buy a domain to archive my movies since I personally have found it very hard to find a hosting site to upload my movies. I just want to say that I am really not that great at video-editing, but I am learning.
The name Charis is a Greek word meaning “gift” or more importantly a gift that you do not deserve. In the Word of God (aka the Bible), it is usually translated as “Grace.” Another form of charis is chariti which is usually translated as “grace.” Grace is something that is hard to understand for most people. But I have spent hours and days studying about the Grace of God and it’s something that is really meaningful and important to me. God treats us all in grace and by grace I am saved. I didn’t do anything to deserve what God has done and provided for me. God taught me about His grace and even knowing its meaning is something that I don’t earn or deserve. I thought that Charis is such a beautiful/meaningful name so that’s why I chose to call my Studio that. I am what I am by the grace of God.
I’m not really a director as I am more of a writer, but I found The Sims 2 to be a good way to put my stories and characters on screen. I make Sims 2 movies for myself and because it’s fun. I try to make Sims 2 movies differently. I enjoy Anime and Korean drama so I tend to make my Sims 2 movies a mixture of both. I can’t take the credit to myself though, because my fiancee Josh has been a great help! We’re a team.

About Me: I'm just a 26-year-old stay-at-home mom/housewife who enjoys playing video games and writing fictional stories, particularly romantic comedies. I used to write a lot of fanfictions and was an active writer on FanFiction.NET when it first came out on the web. I don't write fanfictions anymore, but I enjoy writing my own original stories with the help of my one and only Josh. I enjoy playing The Sims 2 and making movies with it with Josh and the rest of my cast. You can find out more about me on my personal blog if you really want to stalk me. lol. About Josh: Josh is my best friend and husband. He's the one that bought my PC and lent me his copy of The Sims 2. Because of that, I've been hooked since. He's become the main scriptwriter for Vanity High. I really love that he's helping me so much. This way, I have more time to concentrate on filming and editing. He also provides the voice for Trent Ford in Vanity High. Not only that, he's also in charge of writing songs for The Distraction. Vanity High wouldn't have been possible without his help, the cast members, and of course the fans.
